我们学校的课外活动课象棋二班的老师David Hurlbert不幸在九月二十一曰去世. David是一位极具责任心和爱心的老师，他在学校任教已超过十年. 他的葬礼将在本周六上午11点在Carrboro United Methodist Church举行. 届时我将代表学校参加并给David的家人带去我们所有RACL老师，同学和志愿人员的慰问. 因课外活动课象棋一班的老师Arthur Lewis也将参加David的葬礼， 本周六的象棋一班和二班的课因此取消，补课时间由老师再定. 请家长们互相转告.
David Hurlber, RACL chess II activity class teacher, passed away on September 21. David has been with our school for over ten years. He was loved and respected by his students, teachers and everyone worked at the school. He will be missed. This weeks’ chess classes will be cancelled due to David’ memorial service and the chess teacher will decide the makeup class time later.
